Allow data dictionary items in Rental Instructions fields
-
PLEASE!
I want to use custom codes, but without having them be able to be used in the rental instructions it's not very convenient. Hope this feature is easy to add. it will make everything more . awesome!

FURTHER TO THIS:
Wanting custom codes to be actually useful. If the custom code is not setup for a certain rental it displays "undefined" . Making it basically useless to use.
PLEASE MAKE IT DISPLAY NOTHING IF NOT ASSOCIATED WITH RENTAL INSTEAD OF UNDEFINED

@Ryland-Nelson I've just forwarded your question to someone more familiar with data dictionary implementation: @Duane

@Ryland-Nelson said in Allow data dictionary items in Rental Instructions fields:

PLEASE MAKE IT DISPLAY NOTHING IF NOT ASSOCIATED WITH RENTAL INSTEAD OF UNDEFINEDHi Ryland. Unfortunately, your request to allow data codes inside data codes is not currently possible. This is something that might be considered for the future, but we have no timetable on if or when that could be implemented.
Your second suggestion will be discussed with the developers. I agree with you on changing that behavior. Thanks for your feedback.

@Duane that makes sense. Hadn’t thought about that.
But yes. If the undefined text can be eliminated that would be amazingly useful
