Processing Fees: Understanding fees in Tokeet

At Tokeet, we prioritize transparency and simplicity when it comes to our pricing. We understand that fees can be confusing, so it’s important to clarify the difference between booking fees and processing fees for our clients.

No booking fees in Tokeet

We are pleased to confirm that Tokeet does not charge any booking fees. Whether your bookings come from OTAs (such as Airbnb or Booking.com) or are made directly, there is no additional fee charged by Tokeet when a reservation payment is charged. We want to ensure that our clients can focus on managing properties without worrying about hidden charges related to bookings.

Processing fees

While Tokeet doesn’t charge booking fees, it’s important to note that processing fees may apply when you use payment processors like Stripe to handle guest payments. These fees are standard in the payment processing industry and are determined by the processor itself, in this case Stripe.

Processing fees are a separate service from Tokeet and are managed by Stripe. Tokeet has no control over processing fees.

Why processing fees are necessary

Processing fees are a common part of any payment system and they cover essential services provided by the payment processor, including secure transactions, fraud protection and data encryption. These fees enable your guests to make payments safely and efficiently. If you’d like more information about Stripe, PayPal or any other payment processor fees, you can visit their pricing web pages:

There you can see the costs associated with their service.
